Buckingham Palace...

This was a while a go but it is one of my favourite pictures.

It is of Buckingham Palace, but you wouldn't be able to notice that because all you can see are two black bars, the actual palace is blurred out by using a depth of field.
I like it because it is different.  You get the boring tourist pictures from the fountain across the road, or the ones of the Guards standing to attention outside, but this, not trying to be biased, captures Buckingham Palace in a different way.

I am not quite sure which way that is, but I'm sure I'll figure it out...

Breaking News!!

So, my Grandad said on Christmas Day that my photographs were really professional and I should get a professional opinion on them.  So I did.

Art233 is an Art Gallery in Crowthorne - small but still an Art Gallery.  The man who runs it, Pete, says he really likes the photographs that I sent him, and he wants to have a chat with me about displaying/selling my photographs IN HIS GALLERY!!!

When I got this email I jumped out of my seat!! Many galleries have been turning around and saying no, just like that.  Look at smaller galleries, so I did, emailed loads and only one reply came back!  Which is a good thing...

I am going to see him on Thursday afternoon with my presentations and my project that I did for Photography.

Wish me luck!!!

This was taken in my front garden a while ago.  I like this picture as it has captured the water as well, whereas having flash on would have made the plant brighter, but removed the water slightly giving it less impact.  This was one of the photos that I sent to the Art Gallery!

Happy New Year!

I know, I'm bad, it has been a while since I blogged a picture.  But to be honest, with the freezing temperatures here and nothing to really take pictures off unless its of something boring like the carpet in my living room or the cupboards in my room...  Really, there isn't a lot happening here.

So I thought I would save one for New Year!  Admittedly, it doesn't really have anything exciting in it.  It is to do with New Year in a way, in the way that it was food that we ate at the little "get-together" at my house...

Soo... FOOD!!

See, I told you - not really that interesting.  The thing that I like about this picture is that you can see the spring rolls clearly at the front, and the sweet chili dipping sauce, but then the spring rolls in the background, bearing in mind they were about five centimetres away from the others, were blurry.  I think that this picture captures the food in a different way than food is normally captured in.  I mean, you get people taking pictures of their food all the time, posting on Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr, but are they showing their food in a unique way??

I did like this picture as I thought it was interesting.

Now there is one picture that I didn't take, but I thought I would share it as it captures my New Years night in one...

Me and my main man!
There will be more photos to follow, once back to college, more photos will be taken!!  Here is to the next project.

Don't forget to comment on what you would like to see!!

Thanks,
